The 2019 World Series of Poker is in full swing and today is sure to bring more excitement with the commencement of Event #10: $1,500 Dealers Choice.

With 20 games in the mix today, there is sure to be fun action across the entire room. Some of the games are more well-known, such as No Limit Texas Hold’em and Pot Limit Omaha. Others include the common limit games found in H.O.R.S.E. More variants of these games are also available to players, like Pot Limit Hold’em, Limit Omaha High, and Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo Regular. There are also a handful of draw games, including No-Limit 5-Card Draw High and both Limit and No-Limit forms of the lowball games 2-7, A-5, Badugi, Badeucy, and Badacy.

Players receive a starting stack of 10,000 and will play 10 one-hour levels. There will be 15-minute breaks every two levels and registration will be open until the start of Level 9, which will be approximately midnight.

Last year’s event saw 406 runners join the tournament for a total prize pool of $548,100 and after three full days of play, Jeremy Harkin emerged victorious and received a WSOP gold bracelet as well as $129,882 for his efforts. Other notable players to make the final table last year were Frankie O’Dell (2nd, $80,256), James Woods (5th, $23,686), and Scott Abrams (6th, $16,589).

Cards are scheduled to fly at 3 p.m. local time at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino and the PokerNews team will be on the floor reporting the action every step of the way.
