Ausmus More Than Doubles

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Jeremy Ausmus
Jeremy Ausmus

Roberto Natividad raised to 15,000 from under the gun and Jeremy Ausmus three-bet to 35,00 from mid-position. Andreas Eiler shoved in the small blind having both of his opponents covered and Natividad folded while Ausmus called for the 194,000 he had behind.

Jeremy Ausmus: {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Andreas Eiler: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}

The board ran out {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Spades} for Ausmus to hold even though Eiler picked up the gutshot to a Broadway on the turn. Ausmus doubled up, leaving Eiler behind with less than three big blinds.

Sekularac Wins Massive Pot to Bust Jain

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Ognjen Sekularac is now the large stack in the room following a massive hand vs Chander Jain.

The board read {7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{9-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Jain was facing a bet that would be for his entire stack. After mulling it over for a while he called.

Sekularac showed the {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a set while Jain held {a-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a no good top pair top kicker.

Zhang Wins Some Back

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Yang Zhang raised to 18,000 from mid-position and was called by Emile Schiff and Chen Dong in the blinds.

They all checked through the {2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop to the {8-Diamonds} on the turn. Schiff checked again. Dong now bet 34,000 which only Zhang called.

The river completed the board with the {k-Spades} and they both checked again. Dong tabled {5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} for the missed flush draw for Zhang to pick up the pot with {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for the turned pair of eights.
