After a handful of hands that brought no significant action, the deadlock has been finally broken with the elimination of Rep Porter in 46th place. The crucial hand started with Jerry Wong raising to 3,000. Porter called from the big blind and both players discarded one.
All in and a call followed and Porter's nine-low was no match to Wong's nuts. Wong is among the tournament top stacks with over 160,000 in chips.
While Porter left the Miranda Room as the bubble boy, the 45 remaining players have locked up $2,242 and some POY points.
