Famed tournament director Matt Savage, who more than once has been shortlisted for the Poker Hall of Fame, is taking a break from his directing responsibilities and put on his player cap.
In a recent hand, Savage raised to 400 under the gun and was called by Simeon Myer in middle position and Ken Bruno in the big blind.
Bruno checked the 
flop, Savage bet 200, and Myer got out of the way. Bruno made the call and then checked for the second time on the 
. Savage bet again, this time 400, and it did the trick as Bruno sent his hand to the muck.
