Hands #145-147: The Roller Coaster Continues

Level 34 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Hand #145: Ong Dingxiang raised to 900,000 from the small blind and Isaac Baron defended. The flop came {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} and both players checked. Baron fired 1,500,000 into the pot on the turn {5-Diamonds} and Dingxiang called. The river came {j-Clubs} and Baron led out again for 3,300,000.

Dingxiang called and mucked his hand after seeing Baron table a turned straight with {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}.

Hand #146: Isaac Baron raised his small blind to 600,000. Ong Dingxiang three-bet to 2,400,000 and Baron called. Both players checked a flop of {a-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. The turn was {q-Diamonds} and Dingxiang bet 3,300,000, which Baron called. The river came {q-Clubs} and both players checked to showdown.

Ong tabled {8-Spades}{3-Spades} and Baron picked his turn bluff off with {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}, good for top pair and the pot.

Hand #147: Ong Dingxiang opened from the small blind to 900,000 and was called by Isaac Baron in the big blind. The flop came {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts} and Baron check-called a continuation-bet of 1,100,000 from Dingxiang. The turn came {k-Hearts} and Baron again called another barrel from Dingxiang of 3,300,000.

The river was {9-Hearts} and Dingxiang shoved for his last 6,575,000. Baron went into the tank and after some thought made the call.

Ong Dingxiang: {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}
Isaac Baron: {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs}

Dingxiang's flopped set was good versus Baron's missed flush draw and pair of kings.
