The first-place finisher will be taking home $407,739 in addition to a WSOP gold bracelet.

Leading the field of play today is chip leader Richard Hasnip of the United Kingdom who bagged up an impressive 559,000 chips at the end of Day 1. Haslip who jumped straight into this event after he cashed for $22,57 for his 210th place finish in the $600 No-Limit Hold'em Deepstack event yesterday, will still have a long day ahead of him as there are many healthy stacks including those belonging to Bruce Uselman (490,000), Johan Guilbert (476,000), Alex Lee Xiang Wie (475,000), Uri Reichenstein(424,000), Linglin Zeng (419,5000).

Day 2 action will start at 2 p.m. local time and the PokerNews live reporting team will be on the floor giving you all the updated action as the 289 remaining players will play 60-minute blind levels starting at level 15 and will play down until there are just six players remaining. Who'll reach the final table? We're going to find out across what should be a fantastic day's play.

After losing most of his chips in a pervious hand with pocket jacks, Tony Miles found himself all in from the big blind against Michael McCarthy on the button.

Tony Miles: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}
Michael McCarthy: {a-Hearts}{6-Hearts}

Miles was ahead and even caught his nine on the flop but his opponent flopped a flush draw {9-Spades}{5-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

The turn came the {k-Diamonds} and Tony just needed to dodge a heart on the river.

Unfortunately, it came the {k-Hearts} and Miles was eliminated from the tournament.

Isaac Baron
Isaac Baron

On the very next hand following his recent knockout, Javier Icaza shoved all in for around 230,000 from under the gun and action folded to Isaac Baron in the small blind. Baron called and Linglin Zeng folded from the big blind and it was off to the races.

Isaac Baron: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Javier Icaza: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

"Ace-king again?!" Zeng said when Baron turned his hand over. Baron said he hoped that he would be on the favorable side of the race again and Zeng told him that it would be okay and that he was flipping well today.

The flop and turn came {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Icaza was one card away from the double up until the dealer turned over the {a-Spades} for the river, giving Baron a higher pair and his second elimination in as many hands.
