Welcome back to Day 3 of Event 16: $1,500 No-Limit Hold’em 6-Handed. The event saw a new time and structure from its usual placement on the schedule and the result was its largest field since 2011. Day 1 of the tournament saw 1,832 entrants enter with the dream of winning a WSOP gold bracelet, with 275 finishing the day with that dream still intact.

The second day of play saw the money bubble burst only 30 minutes into the day. The remaining players battled for 10 one-hour levels and when play concluded there were 21 remaining with Romain Nussman leading the way with a massive 8,095,000.

Other big stacks and notable players set to return today include Ong Dingxiang (7,080,000), Pierce Mckellar (4,990,000), Henry Lu (2,175,000), and Isaac Baron (2,050,000).

Players will return to blinds of 20,000/40,000 with a 40,000 big blind ante. Levels will last one hour each with 15-minute breaks every two levels. There will be a 60-minute dinner break at the conclusion of the sixth level of play today at approximately 8:30 p.m. local time.
