Two Triple Ups

Level 17 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

David "Bakes" Baker was all in out of the single big blind and he faced Frankie O'Dell (cutoff) and Robert Slezak (button).

The {k-Spades}{7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} flop was checked and O'Dell bet the {j-Diamonds} turn, Slezak called. On the {7-Diamonds} river both checked and Baker had the best of it with {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{3-Spades}.

The next player to triple up was Sam Higgs. He raised first to act and Richard Ashby called in the small blind. Andrew Yeh raised in the big blind and Higgs moved all in for 52,000, both opponents called. The {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop was checked, Ashby bet the {q-Diamonds} turn and Yeh folded.

Higgs turned over {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} for the nut flush, but had to dodge a nine or five, as Ashby had {9-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for two pair. The {10-Clubs} river bricked and Higgs also tripled.
