"A Lot of Factors" for Frazin vs. Microstacked Elezra

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante
Eli Elezra
Eli Elezra

Eli Elezra had just fired on fourth street, signalling a clear intention to get his entire stack of 3,000 into the pot against Timothy Frazin showing {x-}{x-}/{q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}.

Frazin had just flipped his entire hand face up: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and was talking about potentially knocking Elezra out.

"Do I want him to stick aroud? Do I want to put a beat on him?" he questioned himself. "The fact you're practically my uncle is a factor. There are a lot of factors." He folded, having weighed the factors.

"With your chips, I'd have called!" said a tablemate.
"Me too! He had 3,000," said another.
"Lot of factors," Frazin reminded them.

Crow Crowns Niebling with the Straight

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Scott Niebling: {x-}{x-}/{9-Spades}{7-Clubs}{a-Clubs}{5-Spades}/{x-}
Isaac Crow: {x-}{x-}/{6-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{4-Hearts}/{x-}

The action checked through on sixth street, and Niebling put in a bet when the river came in, with Crow calling. Niebling showed {9-}{7-}{x-} for two pair, but Crow got the best of it, showing down {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{8-} for the six-high straight.

"These straights are going to kill me," Niebling said.

Stud Bracelet Dream Over for Dermer

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Aron Dermer just played a 30,000 chip pot out against Joel Tushnet that saw both of them all in by the end (Tushnet covering Dermer by less than one full bet. Starting with Tushnet raising on the first betting round showing {k-Hearts} vs. Dermer's {10-Hearts}, these cards turned out to be crucial to the eventual house-over-house that won Tushnet the pot.

Dermer: {x-}{x-}/{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}/{x-}
Tushnet: {x-}{x-}/{k-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Spades}/{x-}

Tushnet had bet fifth and sixth streets, called by Dermer, and bet again on seventh. When he was called, he revealed his kings full, beating Dermer's tens full.

Dermer: {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{9-Spades}/{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}
Tushnet: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Hearts}/{k-Hearts}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{j-Spades}

"Nic hand, bro," said Dermer. "Where'd you get it?"

"On the river," replied Tushnet.

"Same place," said Dermer, who busted on the next hand to Chris Ferguson.

Andrzejewski Builds on Healthy Day 2 Start

Level 12 : 1,200/2,400, 300 ante

Starting the day lying in fourth overall (57,500), Pawel Andrzejewski now has over 75,000, his last chunk of chips coming from Brazilian pro Joao Simao. On seventh street, Simao considered his options concerning Andrzejewski's final bet.

Simao: {x-}{x-}/{j-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{10-Spades}/{x-}
Andrzejewski: {x-}{x-}/{k-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{9-Spades}/{x-}

He eventually made the call, seeing the {a-Diamonds}{k-Spades} revealed for aces up, good for the pot.

Mogavero's Ride Comes to and End

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 200 ante

Daniel Mogavero survived one crazy hand for the last of his chips, but his survival didn't last long.

Daniel Mogavero: {j-Clubs}{k-Hearts}/{a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{10-Hearts}/{x-}
Kenneth Po: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}/{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{4-}/{3-}

Mogavero was drawing thin on sixth street against Po's rolled-up sixes, but the {10-Hearts} came in to give Mogavero the broadway straight and give him faint hope with a 3,000-chip stack.

A couple of hands later, however, Mogavero's day came to an end, as Igor Sharaskin's {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} full house was enough to knock out Mogavero with {k-}{k-}.

Bronshtein: {x-}{x-}/{a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}/{x-}
Caskey: {x-}{x-}/{q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}/{x-}

It has been less than two days since Yuval Bronshtein picked up his first WSOP bracelet in the $1,500 2-7 Lowball Draw, and he's back at the tables hunting another one.

Heads up vs. Ryan Caskey on fifth street it was Bronshtein who bet. He was raised by Caskey and made the call. Sixth street brought both players a jack and Bronshtein check-called.

After the final card was dealt, Bronshtein checked, Caskey bet and Bronshtein pondered for a while. Finally, he flipped his face-up cards face-down, and the pot went to Caskey.
