Level 8 : 800/1,600, 2,400 ante

Mike Gorodinsky raised to 4,000 under the gun and Alexander Wilkinson called next to act, as did Jesse Martin from the small blind.

Each player drew one card, and Martin led out for 16,000.

Gorodinsky called leaving himself just 600 behind, and Wilkinson folded.

Gorodinsky tabled his {9-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{4-} after Martin uttered what sounded like a pair.

Volpe Doubles Through Sammartino

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 2,400 ante
Paul Volpe
Paul Volpe

Dario Sammartino opened with an under the gun raise, and Justin Gardenhire called in the cutoff.

Paul Volpe moved all in for 17,500, and after the blinds folded, Sammartino re-shoved over the top for roughly 41,000. Gardenhire folded.

Sammartino drew one, and Volpe wrapped pat behind.

Volpe: {9-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}
Sammartino: {10-}{8-}{6-}{2-}

Sammartino was drawing dead and found the {5-} to make a ten-eight to still be second behind Volpe's nine-six.

Yahyaei Dealt a Pat Number 2 to Bust Wright

Level 8 : 800/1,600, 2,400 ante

Larry Wright was all in for 51,700 against Majid Yahyaei.

Yahyaei stood pat and Wright announced one.

Yahyaei immediately tabled his {7-}{6-}{3-}{3-}{2-} for a number two.

Wright stood there stunned and said he was drawing dead.

"You can't change the number of cards to draw, but you can change which one," needled Jean-Robert Bellande as the whole table erupted in laughter.

Wright tabled his {8-}{7-}{6-}{3-} and drew a {4-}, and with him being covered by Yahyaei by a few thousand, Wright hit the rail.
