Farnsworth Finds a Fold

Level 22 : 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

After Edward Wolff shoved from the hijack position, Michael Farnsworth, on the button and also short-stacked, thought for a few moments before folding. Garrett Beckman, in the small blind and having a slightly bigger stack than Wolff, immediately three-bet shoved, which got a fold from the player in the big blind, and an outburst of relief from Farnsworth. The two players then tabled their hands.

Edward Wolff: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}
Garrett Beckman: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

After the board ran out {2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{a-Clubs}, eliminating Wolff from the tournament, Farnsworth again sighed and remarked that he folded an ace.
