Easy Come, Easy Go for Nguyen

Level 28 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

David Nguyen opened to 175,000 in middle position and Brian Craig defended from the big blind. The flop came {10-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Craig checked to Nguyen who continued for 175,000. Craig check-raised to 475,000 and Nguyen called.

The turn brought the {6-Spades} and Craig led out for 525,000. Nguyen shoved all in for 1,535,000 and Craig tanked for a couple of minutes before folding.

In the next hand, Nguyen raised it up again to 180,000 and Scott Vener three-bet to 450,000. The action folded back to Nguyen who four-bet shoved all in. Vener instantly called off his stack of 2,560,000 and the cards were on their backs.

Nguyen tabled {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} but ran into the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} of Vener. The board ran out {6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} and Vener's pocket kings held on for the double up and Nguyen fell below 10 big blinds.
