Mendes Doubles Through Vieira

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

The player in the cutoff raised to 7,000 and Marcelo Mendes called in the small blind. Joao Vieira squeezed to 20,000 in the big blind which only Mendes called.

The flop came {4-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{k-Diamonds} and Mendes checked. Vieira bet 14,000 for Mendes to respond with a shove for 75,500. Vieira dived into the tank and ended up making the call.

Marcelo Mendes: {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}
Joao Vieira: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Mendes was sitting on a flush draw while Vieira had two pair.

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} to give Mendes the flush indeed and he stayed ahead when the {j-Clubs} completed the board to double up.

Witek Sends Vangimalla to the Rail

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Vinod Vangimalla was on the short stack and he shipped all in for around 40,000 in middle position. Tuan Phan called from the hijack but Francis Witek re-shoved all in from the small blind for an extra 92,500. Phan thought for a minute but decided to lay his hand down.

Francis Witek: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Vinod Vangimalla: {a-Spades}{10-Clubs}

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} to give Witek a set of jacks and Vangimalla was nearly drawing dead. The {q-Diamonds} on the turn gave him a straight draw but the {q-Clubs} on the river was no help.

Yogo Shoves on Pham

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

David Pham opened to 7,000 in middle position and was called by Abhinav Iyer in the cutoff. Iori Yogo three-bet to 26,000 on the button and both Pham and Iyer called.

The flop came {j-Spades}{6-Spades}{6-Hearts} and the action checked to Yogo who continued for 30,000. Pham called and Iyer got out of the way. The turn brought the {6-Diamonds} and Pham check-called another bet of 65,000 from Yogo.

The {k-Hearts} hit the river and Pham checked for the third time. Yogo quickly announced all in for 133,500 and Pham went into the tank. He asked for a count and then thought for a minute before decided to dump his cards to the muck.

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante
Ben Palmer
Ben Palmer

The action folded to Ben Palmer who raised it up on the button. Dave Stefanski stuck in a three-bet from the big blind and Palmer just called.

With around 70,000 in the pot, the flop fell {9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and Stefanski moved all in for around 75,000. Palmer snapped him off and the cards were tabled.

Ben Palmer: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Dave Stefanski: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}

Stefanski flopped a straight and flush draw but neither the {6-Spades} on the turn nor the {5-Clubs} on the river were of any help to him.
