Kwatra Eliminated by Xu

Level 24 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Anuj Kwatra
Anuj Kwatra

Yicheng Xu raised to 70,000 from the hijack and the player in the cutoff got out of the way. Anuj Kwatra then pushed about 500,000 to the middle from the button and the players in the blinds folded. Xu didn't even need a count when he immediately dropped a chip to call in front of him.

Anuj Kwatra: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Yichen Xu: {a-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Xu hit a king right away on the {k-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop and Kwatra needed a seven on either the turn or the river. The turn was the {10-Spades} and the {5-Hearts} river didn't help him either.

The remaining players are now one player away from the final two table redraw.

Xu and Ma Chop it Up

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 24,000 ante

Christopher Ma opened to 50,000 from under the gun and it folded all the way around to big blind Yicheng Xu. Xu wanted to see how much Ma had behind and he called after he checked his stack out.

The flop was dealt {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and both players checked. They did the same on the {2-Diamonds} turn and the {3-Clubs} river was dealt. Xu lead out with a bet of 200,000 and Ma took his time before calling.

Xu opened up {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs} and he played the straight on the board and so did Ma with {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}.
