Jan Stein: {x-}{x-} / {5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} / {x-}

Yuval Bronshtein brought it in, Anna Wroblewski completed, and Jan Stein called. Bronshtein made it two bets, and both Wroblewski and Stein called. Bronshtein bet fourth street, and was called by both of his opponents, and he bet again on fifth, where only Stein called. Bronshtein bet sixth street, and Stein went into the tank.

"I take this one, you take the next one," Bronshtein told Stein with a grin. Stein responded with a raise and replied, "How 'bout I take this one, you take the next one?" Bronshtein called, then tank-called one final bet on seventh street after asking Stein, "You got a flush?"

Stein turned over {9-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} for a flush, and this year's $1,500 NL 2-7 Lowball Draw bracelet winner Bronshtein was left with just 2,000 chips, which he lost in the next hand to Jose Paz-Gutierrez.

Alejandro Torres: {x-}{x-} / {5-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}
Jason Daly: {x-}{x-} / {9-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}

Cory Chaput brought it in, Alejandro Torres completed, and Jason Daly made it two bets. Chaput folded, and Torres called. Daly bet fourth, and Torres paused for a moment before calling, leaving himself 7,000 behind. Daly bet again on fifth, and Torres committed his remaining chips, tabling {a-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} for four pieces to a wheel as he did.

Daly turned over {q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for a gutshot straight flush draw, and he improved to a pair of eights on sixth, while Torres picked up the {j-Clubs}. Daly turned seventh street over first, showing a {7-Spades}, meaning Torres had a host of outs to either chop or win the whole pot. He found the useless {q-Clubs} instead, and hit the rail.

Sawtell tabled {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} from his hand, giving him aces-up. Turner turned over {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds} for a pair of sevens, but Sawtell found the {a-Spades} on sixth for aces full, and Turner picked up the {8-Clubs}, leaving him drawing dead before seventh street was dealt.

Patricia Yannuzzi got her last chips in on third street against Jason Daly. Yannuzzi opened {8-Clubs}{2-Spades} for a pair of deuces and Daly showed {j-Spades}{8-Spades} for split jacks.

Neither player improved and on seventh street, Yannuzzi would need to improve to two pair to double up. Daly showed the {7-Clubs} and Yannuzzi showed {4-Hearts} which wasn't enough and she was eliminated.

Jason Daly: {x-}{x-} / {4-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} - folded on fourth street

Jan Stein completed and short stack Bryan Pimlott raised. Michael Mizrachi, Jason Daly and Stein all called.

Stein checked fourth street and Pimlott bet. Mizrachi raised, Daly folded and Stein called. Pimlott called and was all in.

Mizrachi called bets on fifth and sixth street and the pair checked seventh street. Stein showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for aces up.

"I have the low," said Pimlott showing {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}. However, the four had paired him and he could only muster up a pair of fours. Mizrachi mucked {10-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{x-} and Pimlott was eliminated.

Matthew Schultz: {x-}{x-} / {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{6-Clubs}/{x-}

Tamon Nakamura was all in for just the ante, and Michael Sopko bet fifth and sixth streets in the side pot against Matthew Schultz. Sopko checked seventh, then called a bet from Schultz, who rolled over {4-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for a six-high straight and a six-low. Sopko tabled {j-Spades}{10-Spades}{j-Clubs} for a flush, and Nakamura peeled over the {3-Spades}, then the {q-Diamonds}, giving him three queens and a sweat to stay alive. The last card he peeled over was the {a-Diamonds}, and he was eliminated.

Elias Hourani: {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} / {2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}

Matthew Kelly was all in on sixth street against Elias Hourani. Kelly would need a low card to secure half of the pot, with Hourani already having locked up the high with trip fives.

"I got a low card," said Kelly. "But not the right one," as he spun the {7-Clubs} onto the table. Hourani opened the {6-Hearts} to take down the pot and eliminate Kelly.

Eric Rodawig Eliminated in 22nd Place ($3,977)

Eric Rodawig
Eric Rodawig

Eric Rodawig completed with the {2-Spades}, and Jon Turner made it two bets with the {5-Clubs}. Rodawig called off his last 15,000.

Eric Rodawig: {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} / {2-Spades}{6-Spades}{7-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}
Jon Turner: {9-Hearts}{5-Hearts} / {5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}

Rodawig sweated his final card first. "Seems low," he said, but it turned out to be a useless ten, meaning Turner's kings and fives would hold for the elimination before Turner even revealed his final card, the {3-Diamonds}.

"Alright, good luck!" Rodawig told the table before departing.
