Bicknell Doubles

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Kristen Bicknell
Kristen Bicknell

Kristen Bicknell was just down to crumbs and was seen getting her remaining chips all in preflop with {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} against another player's {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}.

The flop came {4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}, giving Bicknell top pair but a sweat to her opponent's Broadway outs. The turn and river were a clean {2-Spades}{6-Spades} and Bicknell secured the double, giving herself a little bit more life.

Loeser Out After Break

Level 10 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Manig Loeser
Manig Loeser

Manig Loeser was a late entry to the tournament, having taken his seat at the completion of the dinner break. His tournament did not last long, however, with the German shoving all in for his last 10,500 with {a-Clubs}{5-Spades} and getting called by another player's {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

Loeser was drawing to a chop after a flop of {10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{q-Hearts} and did not pick it up as the turn and river fell {9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.

Nussman Sends One To Dinner Early

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Romain Nussmann
Romain Nussmann

With around six minutes remaining before the dinner break, a player was seen calling off his last 13,000 or so chips to a raise from Romain Nussmann.

Romain Nussmann: {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Opponent: {a-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Nussmann's opponent unhappily flung his cards down face up to show them upon seeing Nussmann's ace-king. Unfortunately for the gentleman, the board ran out {8-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{k-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} and he was eliminated from the tournament as Nussmann added to his growing stack.

Smith Four-Bet Shoves

Level 9 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Matthew Smith raised to 2,500 from the cutoff and was three-bet by the player on the button to 7,500. Action folded to the big blind who went into the tank before ultimately folding. With action back on Smith, he counted his stack and proceeded to shove for around 42,000. His opponent exclaimed about how the large-sized shove was too rich for his blood and he sent his cards the dealer's way as Smith took in the pot.
