Nine-Low for Hastings

Level 17 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante

Razz

Mike Ross completed and Brian Hastings called. Ross bet fourth, and Hastings check-called.

On fifth, Hastings took the betting and lead and Ross called before sixth and seventh checked through.

Ross: {x-}{x-} / {5-}{7-}{q-}{2-} / {x-}
Hastings: {x-}{x-} / {5-}{3-}{8-}{k-} / {x-}

Ross tabled his {k-}{6-}{2-} for a queen-low, but it would be Hastings' {a-}{8-}{9-} for a nine-low that would earn him the pot.

Razz

In the last hand of the level, a three-way Razz hand emerged and Jen Harman had already folded after sixth, while Matthew Gonzales and Chris Vitch were still active.

Matthew Gonzales: {x-}{x-} / {2-}{4-}{k-}{5-} / {x-}
Chris Vitch: {x-}{x-} / {a-}{8-}{8-}{3-} / {x-}

On seventh, Gonzales bet and Vitch moved all in for the last 27,000, Gonzales snap-called and showed {a-}{5-}{3-} for a wheel. Vitch only had {9-}{5-}{4-} and bowed out in 25th place for $15,176.

According to Gonzales, Vitch had raised and was called two ways, Gonzales then bet all the way.

Vitch Chops to Stay In

Level 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

On the river of a board {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{2-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, Marco Johnson in the blinds reluctantly called a bet by Mike Ross, who turned over {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Spades}{10-Hearts} for a full house. Johnson sigh-folded.

The very next hand brought the raise of Chris Vitch and Jen Harman called. Ross made sure it was just a call and Johnson joked "she just called, tens are good." Ross indeed called and check-folded the {7-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop to a bet of Vitch and the raise of Harman. Vitch called all in for 18,000 total.

Chris Vitch: {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs}
Jen Harman: {a-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Clubs}

The {3-Hearts} turn and {7-Hearts} river ensured a split pot.

Gonzales and Harman Chop

Level 16 : 12,000/24,000, 0 ante

Omaha Hi-Lo

Matthew Gonzales raised the button and Jen Harman three-bet the small blind. Gonzales called, and on the {10-Spades}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} flop, he called a bet of 12,000.

The turn fell the {7-Hearts} and Harman bet and Gonzales called. The river fell the {6-Diamonds} and Harman checked.

Gonzales bet, and Harman called tabling her {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades} for the nut low to chop with Gonzales' {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs} for the third-nut straight.
