Thomas Cazayous opened for 80,000 first to act and called a three-bet to 245,000 from small blind Kyle Cartwright. Both players checked the flop and turn for a board of {10-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}. Cartwright bet 190,000 and Cazayous thought briefly and called.

Cartwright showed {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} but lost showdown to {j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}.

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante
Angel Guillen
Angel Guillen

Angel Guillen got his last 620,000 in preflop and was in good shape holding {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades} against the {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} of Upeshka De Silva. The {3-Clubs}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} brought a sweat in the form of a gutshot but the {7-Clubs} river was safe for a Guillen double.

Josh Weiss jammed for 310,000 from under the gun, and Kyle Cartwright called in the big blind.

Josh Weiss: {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs}
Kyle Cartwright: {a-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}

Cartwright paired up on the {2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop, and although Weiss picked up a gutshot on the {3-Spades} turn, he bricked off on the {3-Diamonds} river to bust one spot short of the unofficial final table.

De Silva Can't Shake Cazayous

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Upeshka De Silva limped in from the small blind, and Thomas Cazayous checked his option in the big blind.

De Silva bet 60,000 on the {j-Spades}{4-Spades}{6-Clubs} flop, and Cazayous raised to 180,000. De Silva called.

The {6-Hearts} fell on the turn, and De Silva led out again, this time for 145,000. Cazayous called. Both players checked the {3-Diamonds} river, and De Silva turned over {q-Spades}{5-Hearts}. Cazayous held the winner with his {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}.

Howard Gives Up

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Angel Guillen raised to 125,000 on the button and Nicholas Howard defended big blind. Both players checked the flop for a board of {3-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{q-Spades}. Howard bet 150,000 and Guillen called. On the {5-Diamonds} river, Howard checked and Guillen checked it back.

Howard showed {7-Hearts}{6-Spades} for a missed straight. Guillen also missed a straight but his {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} was good anyways.

Martinez Doubles Through Cazayous

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Raul Martinez
Raul Martinez

Upeshka De Silva raised to 110,000 from the hijack, and Thomas Cazayous called in the cutoff. Raul Martinez jammed for 1.06 million, and after De Silva folded, Cazayous made a quick call.

Raul Martinez: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}
Thomas Cazayous: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

Cazayous picked up the nut flush draw on the {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop, and binked it on the {4-Clubs} turn, leaving Martinez just three outs to survive.

"Oh mamma mia!" De Silva said when the {q-Hearts} fell on the river, bringing Martinez a full house and bringing him back from the dead to double up.
