Sevens Are Good for Zobian

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

The player on the cutoff raised to 1,500 and Aram Zobian on the button called.

The flop came {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades} and the cutoff checked. Zobian fired 1,400 and his opponent check-called.

The dealer burned and turned the {a-Diamonds} and this time, the cutoff led out with a bet of 1,600. Zobian called.

The {5-Clubs} filled up the river and both players opted to check. The cutoff showed {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds} and Zobian revealed {7-Hearts}{7-Clubs} to win the pot.

Kowal Slowly Building

Level 6 : 300/600, 600 ante

Graydon Kowal raised to 1,700 on the button and the player in the big blind called.

The dealer fanned a flop of {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and the big blind checked it to Kowal who threw in a bet of 2,500. The big blind check-called.

The turn brought the {7-Spades} and the big blind checked once more. Kowal continued with another bet of 11,000, and his opponent quickly folded. Kowal turned over {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} before raking in the pot.

"You outflopped me big time. I had two jacks," commented his opponent.

Rheem Playing Lots of Pots

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Chino Rheem was involved in five consecutive pots, starting the string of hands with 68,000 chips and ending with the same count.

The most eventful of these hands involved a blind versus blind battle, with Rheem three-betting on the small blind and getting four-bet by an opponent on the big blind. Rheem thought it over for awhile and mucked, saying he wasn't sure if the fold was the right move and showing {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}. His opponent showed Rheem one card and claimed to have ace-queen.

Cartwright Adds to his Stack

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

Kyle Cartwright raised to 1,000 on the cutoff and the button three-bet to 3,200. Action folded back to Cartwright who four-bet to 9,400. The button stuck around with a call.

A flop of {9-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} was dealt and checked through to the {q-Spades} turn. Cartwright fired 4,300 and his oponent called.

The {q-Clubs} completed the board and Cartwright moved all in for 29,000. His opponent went deep into the tank for a couple of minutes, then opted to let it go.

McKeehen Chips Up

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

It's been a quiet day so far for 2015 WSOP Main Event Champ Joe McKeehen, but he's back up to the starting stack amount of 20,000.

McKeehen hit that mark after taking down a small pot in which he bet 1,200 from the hijack into a big blind opponent on a {6-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{2-Spades} flop, and getting the fold.
