Becker Triples

Level 11 : 1,000/2,000, 0 ante
Johannes Becker
Johannes Becker

Yuval Bronshtein opened action with a raise from the hijack. James Obst three-bet from the cutoff and Johannes Becker cold four-bet from the button. The players in the blinds folded and Bronshtein called before Obst capped the action with a fifth bet. Becker and Bronshtein called.

First draws went one, pat, one and Bronshtein checked to Obst, who bet. Becker called all in for his last 1,000 and Bronshtein called Obst's bet, creating a side pot for future action. Second draws went one, pat, one again and Bronshtein again check-called a bet from Obst. All three players stood pat on the final draw and Bronshtein and Obst checked to showdown.

Johannes Becker: {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}
Yuval Bronshtein: {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}
James Obst: {8-}{7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}

Becker's seven-six was good to secure the triple and Bronshtein took the side pot with an eight-seven-five.
