Panyak Survives All In

Level 16 : 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

In an already gargantuan pot of over 300,000 in the middle the flop read {10-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}. Maxim Panyak was all in, while Virtus Davis was involved in a side pot with another player.

The turn was the {j-Clubs}. The third player in the hand moved all in for his remaining 130,000. Davis wanted a count and eventually determined that he was pot committed and made the call.

Davis was hoping for a diamond the river as he showed the {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Panyak showed {8-Spades}{8-Clubs} while the {a-Spades}{10-Clubs} was shown by the third player.

The river was a blank {2-Clubs} to give Panyak a double up and greatly damage Davis's previously large stack as he also lost the side pot.
