Lisandro Busts Deoliveira

Level 13 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo

The chips went in on a flop of {7-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{k-Clubs} with Mateus Deoliveira at risk with aces, facing off against Jeff Lisandro's flush draw. Deoliveira and Lisandro shared a Broadway draw and Deoliveira essentially needed to fade a club card.

Deoliveira: {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}
Lisandro: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Spades}

The {10-Hearts} turn was safe for Deoliveira but a deadly {3-Clubs} hit the river to eliminate him a few places away from paid positions.

Catz Raises the River

Level 13 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Cary Katz
Cary Katz

Ray Henson opened on the button, with Cary Katz defending his big blind. Henson fired a continuation bet on a {10-Hearts}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} flop and Katz called.

The turn came the {a-Diamonds}, and Henson double barreled for 11,000, once again getting a call from Katz. Henson bet again on the {j-Clubs} river; Katz asked for a count on the bet, which was 14,800.

Katz then pushed all of his remaining 50,000 chips in the pot, sending Henson into the tank for about five minutes before finally folding.

Bohlman Pressures Monnette

Level 13 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Scott Bohlman opened his button to 2,500 and John Monnette defended his big blind with a call. Bohlman fired on all three streets of the {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Spades}{6-Spades}{a-Clubs} board and Monnette check-called 1,500 on the flop and 4,000 on the turn. However, he folded to a river-shove and continued with 15,000 or so.

Bohlman Doubles with Pat Nine

Level 13 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Draw

David Williams raised in the hijack and Scott Bohlman shoved his 44,500 out of the small blind. Williams tanked for a couple of minutes and then looked Bohlman up, but he finished with {j-}{8-}{7-}{5-}{2-} which couldn't beat Bohlman's {9-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-}.

Benyamine Puts Hellmuth to the Test

Level 13 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

No-Limit Five Card Draw

David Benyamine opened to 5,500 from the cutoff, and Phil Hellmuth three-bet to 10,400 from the big blind, with Benyamine calling.
Both players drew one, Hellmuth checked, and Benyamine bet out for 15,800, more than half of Hellmuth's remaining stack.

Hellmuth stood up, muttering to himself for a couple of minutes, while Benyamine remained stoic. Hellmuth continued to agonize over the decision, becoming more animated, and Benyamine finally broke out into a quiet laugh. After a couple of more minutes Hellmuth folded, and Benyamine chipped up to 167,000.

Noam's Value-Raise Fails

Level 13 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

No-Limit 2-7 Draw

Yuri Dzivielevski made it 4,500 in the first position, Danny Noam called on his left, and Jonathan Depa joined them to the draw from the big blind.

Depa and Noam drew one apiece while Dzivielevski stood pat.

Dzivielevski bet 9,500 and Noam announced a raise to 30,100. Depa mucked in the blink of an eye but Dzivielevski needed over a minute to process the situation. Then he called and Noam turned up {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}. Dzivielevski, however, had him beat with {8-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-}.

Chris Ferguson, from the big blind, put in a 4,500 bet on the turn into Yuri Dzivielevski, with the board reading {j-Clubs}{j-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts}. Dzivielevski called, bringing forth the {2-Hearts} on the river.

Ferguson slowed down this time, checking the river. Dzivielevski took the initiative and put 8,000 into the pot, and Ferguson thought it over for a bit before folding.
