Chidwick Takes the Lead

Level 26 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante

James Chen opened to 250,000 and picked up four callers including Stephen Chidwick, Alex Epstein in the cutoff, Wasim Korkis on the button and Ka Kwan Lau in the big blind. The {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{5-Hearts} flop was checked all the way to Chidwick and his bet of 400,000 was called only by Chen.

On the {5-Spades} turn, the board paired and Chen opted for a check. Chidwick carefully cut out a bet of 1,250,000 and that won the pot right there to vault the Brit into the top spot.
