Hands #38-42: Soverel Collides with Yurasov

Level 18 : 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Hand #38: Sam Soverel raised to 190,000 from the hijack and Cary Katz three-bet shoved all in for 1,450,000 in the small blind. Soverel made the call but the drama was short-lived when both players tabled the same hand. Katz held {a-Hearts}{k-Spades} against Soverel's {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}. The board ran out {10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{k-Hearts}{q-Spades} and the two players chopped the pot.

Hand #39: Ben Heath opened to 180,000 from under the gun but picked up no action.

Hand #40: Chance Kornuth raised to 175,000 from under the gun and Elio Fox called from middle position. The rest of the table folded and the flop came {k-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{8-Spades}. Kornuth checked and Fox bet 180,000 which got a quick fold from Kornuth.

Hand #41: Andrew Lichtenberger made it 175,000 from the cutoff and Nick Petrangelo re-raised to 500,000 on the button. The blinds folded and Lichtenberger also sent his cards to the muck.

Hand #42: Dmitry Yurasov opened to 175,000 in early position and Sam Soverel defended from the big blind. The flop fell {j-Clubs}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs} and both players checked to the {3-Spades} on the turn.

Soverel led out for 145,000 and Yurasov raised to 550,000. Soverel called and the {4-Spades} completed the board. Soverel quickly checked and Yurasov knuckled the table as well. Soverel turned over {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} and Yurasov conceded the pot.
