Haxton Takes from Smith

Level 2 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Isaac Haxton raised to 4,000 from early position and Dan Smith defended his big blind to see a {7-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{a-Hearts} flop. Smith check-called a bet of 3,000 and then action went check-check on the {q-Spades} turn.

When the {4-Spades} completed the board on the river, Smith led out for 5,000 and Haxton announced a raise. Before he could even drop in raising chips Smith flicked his hand to the muck.

Chen Rips on Jattin

Level 2 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

In a pot that saw several raises preflop, James Chen bet 35,000, about half the pot, on {q-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{6-Hearts} from the button. Small blind Farid Jattin used a time extension then raised to 95,500. Chen responded with an all-in shove for Jattin's last 136,000 and Jattin instantly released.

Negreanu Arrives

Level 3 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Six-time bracelet winner Daniel Negreanu has taken a seat just moments after cards were in the air for Level 3. Negreanu already had one close call at the 2019 WSOP when he finished sixth in the $10K Bounty for $52,099, so he's off to a good start this summer.

Koon Can't Shake Cada

Level 3 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Justin Bonomo opened for 4,500 from the hijack and Joe Cada called from the cutoff. Jason Koon came along from the button, both blinds folded, and the triumvirate watched the flop fall {k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}.

Two checks saw Koon bet 4,500, Bonomo folded, and Cada called to see the {3-Diamonds} turn.

Action went check-check and the {10-Clubs} double-paired the board on the river. Cada checked for the third time and Koon bet 25,000. Cada called with the {10-Hearts}{j-Hearts} for tens full and it was good as Koon showed the {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} for a counterfeited two pair.

Chen Burns Three Extensions

Level 3 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With 75,000 in the pot, James Chen bet 35,000 in the small blind on {5-Spades}{k-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Hearts}. Ali Imsirovic made it 115,000 in the cutoff and Chen stuck around for the {6-Clubs} river. He checked and faced a bet of 155,000.

Chen went deep into the tank before folding and asked Alex Foxen how many time cards he needed to throw in. Foxen signaled for three and Chen gave them up.

Eibinger Continues to Rise

Level 3 : 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Matthias Eibinger and David Einhorn each committed 16,000 preflop and took a flop of {5-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}. Eibinger check-called a bet of 18,000 and then check-called one of 23,000 on the {6-Hearts} turn.

When the {j-Spades} completed the board on the river, Eibinger checked for the third time and Einhorn slowed down by checking behind. Eibinger tabled the {a-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for fours and sixes, which was good as Einhorn sent his hand to the muck.
