Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Maria Konnikova started the action by raising in early position, the player to her left called, the button called and the big blind came along as well.

The flop rolled out {a-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades}, the action checked to the button who fired out 1,200 and only Konnikova called. The turn {5-Diamonds} got checked around and the river was the {a-Clubs}. Konnikova led the river for 4,200 and that was enough for her opponent to muck his hand.

Crawford Finds a River, Sends One Home

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

The flop showed {8-Spades}{4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} and there was around 12,000 in the pot when a player moved all in for their last 11,700. Bill Crawford quickly called the all in and tabled {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts} for a flush draw.

His opponent turned over {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}, giving them just ace-high but the best hand so far. The {2-Diamonds} turn card changed nothing but the {7-Hearts} hit Crawford completely. He took down the pot with his flush and sent one player home.

Moneymaker Delivers a Present to Juthans

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

As told by Shane Juthans table, Chris Moneymaker opened to 2,300 and Juthans called. The flop came down {q-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{2-} and Juthans checked to Moneymaker who ripped all in for just over 10,000.

Juthans called, tabling {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} for the nut-flush draw and was surprised when Moneymaker turned over {8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} for eight-high. The heart instantly came on the turn and Moneymaker was then drawing dead, taking an exit early in the day to Juthans and his flush.
