"Grinder" Sliding in Limit Hold'em

Level 5 : 2,500/5,000, 0 ante

Limit Hold'em

In a pot that looked to have seen several raises before the flop, Chris Vitch bet from the big blind on {j-Spades}{2-Hearts}{9-Clubs}. Michael Mizrachi called in the cutoff then called again on the {j-Clubs} turn. On the {4-Diamonds}, both players checked and Vitch flicked in {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}.

"Almost value-bet," Mizrachi muttered after mucking.

"I wish you would have," Vitch said with a smile. "Go for it. Take me to value town."

The next hand, three players saw an {8-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop with Vitch checking. Phil Hui, who put in a three-bet in the big blind, fired out and Mizrachi raised. Vitch mucked and Hui called. They both checked the {k-Clubs} and "Grinder" quickly folded to a final bet when the {3-Hearts} hit.
