Wasserson Takes from Bleznick

Level 12 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Eric Wasserson raised to 13,000 from the cutoff and Jared Bleznick called from the big blind.

They checked to the turn of an {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{a-Spades} board where Wasserson bet 10,000. Bleznick check-called.

The river was the {5-Hearts} and Bleznick check-called 25,000.

Wasserson tabled {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for a pair of aces, Bleznick mucked and Wasserson won the pot.

Shortly after, we were informed that Brian Hastings picked up aces and doubled for roughly 200,000 through Bleznick, who had ace-queen.

Lousy Pair No Good

Level 12 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Stud Hi-Lo

Adam Friedman: {x-}{x-} / {7-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{9-Spades} / {x-}
Lyle Berman: {x-}{x-} / {4-Hearts}{8-Spades}{a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} / {x-}

The bring in was {3-Diamonds} and Adam Friedman completed with his seven. Lyle Berman called and the two continued heads up.

Friedman check-called a bet from Berman on fourth street. He proceeded to check-call another bet on fifth street. After the bet, Berman had too many chips in front of him and Friedman informed him of such.

"You only need forty (thousand)," Friedman said.

"I like my hand that much!" said Berman.

"I bet you do. Go ahead, then," continued Friedman as he checked sixth street. Berman fired again and Friedman called. Friedman checked in the dark on seventh street as Berman verbally went through his thought process of trying to figure out what Friedman could have. He debated between two pair and a flush draw as there was no opportunity for Friedman to have the low.

Eventually, Berman tossed in another bet and Friedman quickly called.

"One lousy pair of eights," Berman said as he showed {j-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}.

"No good," Friedman retorted, turning over {j-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for two pair and taking down the pot.

"Kings-up," Vitch announced, showing kings and queens. Dwan mucked and the hand cost him a quarter of his stack.

Vitch: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} / {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}

Baker Picks Off Friedman

Level 12 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Action folded to David "ODB" Baker on the button and he raised. "I'm on a heater," he said as Adam Friedman called from the small blind. David Benyamine folded, adding, "I'm on a cooler."

"This is very rare you're going to see me do this," Friedman said.

"What, draw three?" Baker asked. He was correct as Friedman tossed three. Baker took two.

After the draw, Friedman check-called Baker's continuation bet. Second draws went two and pat. Friedman then checked and Baker frired again. Friedman put in a check-raise and Baker called.

Both players stood pat on the final draw and Friedman bet out afterward. Baker quickly called him.

"You got it," Friedman said as he sat there, not turning over his cards. Baker tabled {8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} and Friedman mucked.

Benyamine stood pat on the second draw and both Sammartino and Baker drew one. Benyamine then fired and both players called. Final draws again went pat, one, one and Benyamine fired the river.

2-7 Triple Draw

Short-stacked Yong Wang raised on the button and John Esposito called in the big blind.

Esposito pitched three and Wang needed one. Esposito led out and Wang called.

Both drew one and Esposito bet, putting Wang at risk. Wang called for his last 11,000.
