Hands #13-18: Foresman Takes Back From Givens

Level 36 : 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante

Hand #13: Steffen Logen raised to 1,000,000 on the button and Joe Foresman called from the big blind. The flop came {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and was checked through to the {j-Clubs} turn. Foresman checked again and Logen bet 1,500,000. Foresman check-called. The {5-Diamonds} filled up the board and both players checked. Logen tabled {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} to win the pot and Foresman showed {9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}.

Hand #14: Will Givens raised to 1,100,000 under the gun and Mrityunjay Jha called from one seat over. The dealer fanned a flop of {k-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades} and Givens fired a bet of 1,700,000 that was enough to claim the pot.

Hand #15: Jeff Hakim raised to 1,200,000 from mid-position and Givens called from the big blind. The flop fell {k-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} and was checked through to the {2-Spades} turn and to the {q-Clubs} river. Givens bet 1,700,000 and Hakim raised to 5,300,000. Given gave it some thought but let it go.

Hand #16: Givens raised to 1,300,000 from the small blind and Jha folded his big blind.

Hand #17: Foresman raised to 1,200,000 from the hijack and Gleb Kovtunov called from the cutoff along with Givens on the button, Jha in the small blind, and Jean-Francois Alexandre in the big blind. The flop was {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{3-Clubs} and action checked to Givens who bet 2,000,000. Foresman was the only caller. The turn brought the {8-Spades} and both players checked to the {4-Hearts} river. Foresman bet 6,300,000 and Givens raised to 14,300,000. Foresman thought for a long while and eventually called. Givens showed {3-Diamonds}{3-Spades} for a flopped set of threes but that wasn't good enough as Foresman tabled {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} for a rivered set of fours to win the pot.

Hand #18: Foresman raised to 1,200,000 and Hakim three-bet shoved from the big blind for 13,700,000. Foresman folded.
