Zack Still on Fire

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Jon Turner raised, Dan Zack three-bet in the small blind and David Gee cold-called. Turner made it three to the draw. Zack took one, Gee two and Turner three. Zack bet and the others called. Everyone improved by one and Zack bet again. Gee called and Turner folded. Zack patted, Gee took one, and Zack bet and won the pot.

Badugi

The next hand, Zack raised on the button and Gee called in the small blind. Both took one and Gee check-called. Both took one again, action checked through and they drew once more. Check-check and Zack won with a three-card six.

Gee Wins a Critical Pot

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Badugi

David Gee raised in the cutoff and Sumir Mathur defended his big blind. They drew two apiece on the first draw and Mathur took the betting lead, earning a call. He peeled one on the next draw while Gee still needed two. Mathur bet again and Gee called.

The final draw saw both players change one card and Mathur checked this time. Gee fired and Mathur took his time before calling. Gee had only a three-card badugi but his {4-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} was good enough as Mathur sent his cards to the muck.

Badugi

David Gee raised and Jake Schwartz defended big blind. Schwartz took two and Gee patted. Schwartz checked, Gee bet and Schwartz called then drew one. Gee remained pat and bet again, with Schwartz calling and taking a final card. Schwartz checked without looking and Gee checked back.

"Perfect. Badugi." said Schwartz as he rolled over {4-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{a-Clubs}.

"It's called a wheel," Dan Zack jested.

"I'm just mad I didn't bet," said Schwartz.

Turner Takes from Hampton

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Jesse Hampton raised from early position and Jon Turner was his only caller. Hampton drew one, Turner two, and the action repeated on the second draw with Turner calling a bet in the meantime.

He called again after the second draw and Hampton stood pat. Turner discarded one and the final round was checked. Turner quickly turned up a nine, followed by the rest of his hand and his {9-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-} was good enough to beat Hampton's holdings.

A-5 Triple Draw

Jon Turner raised and David Gee three-bet all in for 54,000 in the small blind. Turner called and each player drew two. Then, each drew one. Then, Gee drew one and Turner had a decision.

"I don't know ace well enough," he said with a sigh as he thought.

Finally, he patted and rolled over {10-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{a-}. Gee turned over {a-}{2-}{4-}{5-} for a strong draw.

"Squeeze it," someone in the crowd urged.

Gee did but shook his head and turned over a {5-} for a pair.

Hampton Doubles With Wheel

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Jesse Hampton raised under the gun, Brayden Gazley three-bet in the next position and called when Hampton shoved for 75,000.

On the first draw, Hampton drew two, Gazlay one. The took one apiece on the remaining draws. Hampton turned up {7-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for the nuts, and while Gazlay could still chop with {7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}, he quickly peeled a {j-} to confirm Hampton's double.

Hampton and Turner on Crumbs

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

2-7 Triple Draw

Jesse Hampton raised on the button and Brayden Gazlay reraised in the big blind. Hampton called and both drew one. They checked and drew one again and Gazlay bet, with Hampton giving it up and preserving his last 75,000.

A-5 Triple Draw

Jon Turner isn't having it much better. He called from the button after Sumir Mathur opened on his right. They each drew two and Mathur check-called then drew two again. Turner took one and Mathur check-called again. Both drew a final card and Mathur checked. Turner quickly bet and Mathur tanked about 30 seconds then called.

Turner shook his head and just pointed at Mathur, who tabled {q-}{6-}{4-}{2-}{a-}.

Hampton Survives Again

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 0 ante

A-5 Triple Draw

Jake Schwartz raised and Jesse Hampton called for his last 37,000. The remaining players let their hands go and Hampton needed to beat one opponent to stay afloat. He took one and Schwartz drew two on the first draw, but the following rounds saw Schwartz pat. Hampton took one again and patted his {6-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-} on the final draw, besting Schwartz' seven-six.
