Zachary Hench Eliminated in 12th Place ($15,871)

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Zachary Hench

Zachary Hench has been sliding down in the counts and lost the last of it in a hand against Jon Turner.

Hench bet 300,000 on the {6-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{k-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop and Turner called. Hench then barreled the river to the tune of his all in and it was an instant call from Turner.

Zachary Hench: {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades}
Jon Turner: {a-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Turner was ahead at this point and the {5-Diamonds} river locked up both the high (seven-high straight) and low (ace-three) hands, sending Hench to the rail in the process.

Schropfer Doubles Through Drinan

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Thomas Schropfer
Thomas Schropfer

Thomas Schropfer has avoided being the third person in a row to be busted by Connor Drinan. Schropfer has been nursing a short stack for a while but managed to double after getting it all in preflop with {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{2-Spades} against Drinan's {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}.

The flop ran out {8-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{9-Spades}, giving Shropfer the straight but Drinan a flush draw. On the {k-Clubs} turn, the German couldn't bear to watch, turning his back on the table until his rail let him know that {q-Hearts} river was a brick.

Big Decision for Seidel

Level 25 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Erik Seidel opened the cutoff, making it 125,000 to play. Jordan Spurlin was the only player to get involved and he called on the button.

On the {9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop, both players checked. The turn brought the {2-Diamonds} and the third diamond on the board. Seidel check-called a 300,000 bet this time.

The {9-Hearts} river paired the board and saw a third check from Seidel and Spurlin barreled for 550,000, which was over half of Seidel's remaining chips. The bet induced a wry smile from the eight-times bracelet winner and after a minute or so in the tank, he decided to let it go, leaving Spurlin to collect the pot.

Action picked up on the turn on a board reading {6-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{a-Spades}. David Prociak bet 190,000 which was called by Scott Abrams.

The river was the {q-Hearts}. Prociak announced a pot bet and Abrams immediately adjusted himself in his chair and put his hand to his head looking agitated by the big decision. He recalled the hand in his head and muttered to himself while studying the board. After over a minute he eventually decided to lay it down and Prociak raked in the pot.
