for a superior flush draw and a higher pair.
The 
river gave both players the flush and Van Alstyne was eliminated in 3rd place, paving the way for a heads-up match between Zyrin and Yueqi Zhu.

James Van Alstyne raised in the small blind and Anatolii Zyrin reraised to cover Van Alstyne's 490,000. Van Alstyne called off and the cards were turned up.

In a battle big blind versus button, Anatolii Zyrin checked the flop and Yueqi Zhu made it 400,000 to go, which Zyrin called. The fell on the turn and Zyrin checked once more, and Zhu pushed forward a bet of 1,000,000. That ended the hand right there, as Zyrin elected to fold.
