Action folded to Denis Strebkov who raised to 115,000 from the hijack. Brian Hastings called from the small blind and Bryce Yockey came along from the big blind as well. The flop came {5-Spades}{10-Spades}{2-Spades} and action checked to Strebkov, who bet 175,000. Hastings folded and Yockey called.

The turn was {9-Clubs} and Yockey checked. Strebkov fired again for 375,000 and Yockey quickly folded.

On the following hand, Hastings opened to 100,000 from the button. Corey Hochman called, defending his big blind and the two saw a flop of {6-Clubs}{a-Hearts}{9-Spades}. With only 230,000 left behind in Hochman's stack, he checked and Hastings made a pot-sized bet of 225,000. Hochman folded, leaving himself with under five big blinds in his stack.
