Pot-Sized River Bet Takes It Down

Level 2 : 100/200, 0 ante

Cliff Josephy raised from under the gun and received calls from the players in middle position and the hijack. Action then folded around to Jennifer Tilly who called in the small blind. The big blind also defended, taking action five ways to a flop of {7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

Action checked to Josephy, who continued with a bet of 2,000. The hijack and Tilly called and action proceeded three handed to the {2-Clubs} turn. Tilly checked and Josephy announced a pot-sized bet of 9,000. The hijack folded and Tilly called after a few seconds.

The river came {7-Spades} and Tilly checked. Josephy kept firing with another pot-sized bet of 27,000. Tilly thought about her decision for over two minutes before eventually folding as the pot was shipped Josephy's way.
