Pots for Lamba and Gordo

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

Just before the blinds went up, Minissha Lamba raised to 2,100 and was called two ways by the button and the big blind. The {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop was checked and Lamba bet the {8-Clubs} turn for 4,500 to pick up the pot uncontested.

A few tables over, Gillermo Gordo bet a heads-up flop of {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{5-Spades} for 10,000 into 35,000 when sitting on the button and his sole remaining opponent in the small blind check-called. On the {3-Diamonds} turn, the small blind checked and folded when Gordo pushed forward his stack of T-5,000 chips.

New faces in the Amazon room include Sarah Herzali and Stephen Graner, who share the same table in Amazon Gold.
