Despite just buying in during the last level, Qinghai Pan has rocketed up to one of the leading stacks.

Three Big Aces for Shak, But Small Gain

Level 10 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

On a flop of {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades} Dan Shak bet and was called by his opponent. The turn was the {a-Spades}. Shak lopped some chips into the middle for a bet following a check and got a swift fold from his opponent. He showed that he was smashing the board with the {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}, and he pulled in the pot, a little bit disappointed that they could not get paid more

Kabrhel's Opponents Displeased

Level 10 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante
Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

Martin Kabrhel put in a check-raise from the big blind on {2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Shaun Deeb, who had bet in the cutoff called. Sam Snead came along from the button and the river was an {8-Spades}. Kabrhel bet and Deeb raised. Snead mucked right away but Kabrhel took around 90 seconds to think before flicking in a call.

Deeb opened {9-Clubs}{7-Hearts} for a missed straight and Kabrhel showed {5-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for the underfull.

"Bluffer!" he shouted with a cackle.

"You took seven minutes to call and you had a full house," Deeb said.

"I should take longer?" Kabrhel asked.

Someone said they'd be putting Kabrhel on a clock for future decisions if he was going to take so long.

"You were getting 19-to-1 and you needed 3-to-1," someone said.

"That's what I was counting!" Kabrhel exclaimed. "You guys are too good."

Little Surging Upwards

Level 10 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

James Little called a bet by Robert Mizrachi on board that read {4-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and there was another player already all in in the hand. The river was the {10-Diamonds}, Mizrachi bet again and Little raised. Mizrachi instantly flung his cards into the muck and the all in player was also defeated as Little turned over the {k-Spades}{10-Spades} for the best hand.

A few hands later Little took a pot from Terrence Chan as he forced a fold with a bet on a completed board of {6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}.

Witteles Toasted

Level 9 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

Todd Witteles bet from the hijack on {5-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and was called by both the cutoff and Rob Mizrachi on the button. The turn was a {q-Hearts} and Witteles shoved for his last 4,000. The cutoff called and Mizrachi raised. The cutoff called to create a side pot but then check-folded on the {2-Spades} river.

"You win," Witteles said, flicking in {3-}{3-}.

Mizrachi had {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

Level 9 : 3,000/6,000, 0 ante

In a three-way pot, one player was all in. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}{q-Spades}. Terrence Chan bet and was called by the other player in the hand. The turn was the {3-Spades} Chan bet again and was again called.

The river was the {4-Hearts}. Chan bet a third time which folded out the remaining player. Chan revealed {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} for the winning hand and the all in player discarded his losing hand quickly and walked away from the table.

On a board that read {5-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{9-Spades} Phil Hui made a bet which Benny Glaser had to consider for a while. He stared down Hui and asked if he had tens, trying to get any type of information. Eventually he folded his hand and Hui took down the decent size pot.
