Hands #179-180: Double up for Gonzalez

David Gonzalez

Hand #179: Guillaume Nolet put 2,910,000 in the middle which was all he had. The only person he had to go through was Ivan Deyra in the big blind and he got out of the way.

Hand #180: Deyra put David Gonzalez all in from the small blind and Gonzalez called in the hope to double up. Deyra could eliminate an opponent and start the heads-up with a massive advantage.

David Gonzalez: {q-Hearts}{7-Spades}
Ivan Deyra: {a-Spades}{6-Hearts}

The flop fell {q-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Gonzalez was in good shape to double up. The {6-Spades} came on the turn and Deyra had a couple of extra outs but he wasn't able to hit on the {8-Spades} river.
