Hands #49-53: Klatt Doubles with Kings

Hand #49: Michael Gagliano raised to 75,000 on the button and Shankar Pillai called from the big blind. The flop and turn of the {7-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{q-Spades}{8-Spades} board were checked and Pillai led out 200,000 on the river. Gagliano laid his hand down.

Hand #50: Andreas Klatt shoved his last 250,000 from the hijack and Pillai looked him up from the small blind.

Klatt tabled {k-Hearts}{k-Spades} and he prevailed against {a-Spades}{5-Spades} on the board of {4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}, doubling to 560,000.

Hand #51: Brett Apter shoved from the small blind, covering Kevin Gerhart's stack. Gerhart folded.

Hand #46: Michael Gagliano raised to 75,000 under the gun and Andreas Klatt called from the big blind. The flop was {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and was checked through to the {a-Diamonds} turn. Klatt checked and Gagliano threw in a bet of 60,000 that was enough to win the pot.

Hand #47: Shankar Pillai raised to 65,000 from the hijack and Gagliano called from the big blind. The dealer spread a flop of {k-Spades}{q-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and Gagliano checked. Pillai fired 65,000 and Gagliano folded.

Hand #48: Pillai raised to 65,000 under the gun and Gagliano called from the small blind along with Nguyen in the big blind. Players saw a flop of {8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and action checked to Pillai who bet 100,000. Gagliano and Nguyen check-called. The turn brought the {5-Clubs} and Gagliano checked. Nguyen fired 420,000 and Pillai folded but Gagliano tank-called. The {9-Clubs} river filled up the board and Gagliano checked once more. Nguyen threw in a bet of 500,000 and Gagliano check-called. Nguyen tabled {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for a straight and Gagliano tossed his cards in the muck.

The {4-Clubs} hit the felt and Werthmann moved all in for 535,000. Nguyen tank-called and his {10-Clubs}{7-Hearts} was good against {k-Hearts}{9-Spades}. The river bricked and Werthmann was eliminated in seventh place.

The flop was {q-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Spades} and was checked to Nguyen who fired 80,000. Pillai check-called and Werthmann folded. The turn was the {4-Hearts} and was checked around to the {k-Spades} river. Pillai checked once more. Nguyen bet 325,000 and Pillai called. Nguyen showed {6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Pillai revealed {q-Spades}{10-Hearts} to win the pot with a pair of queens.

Hand #37: Pillai raised to 55,000 on the button and got no action.

Hand #38: Pillai raised to 55,000 from the cutoff and Brett Apter three-bet to 185,000 from the small blind. Pillai folded.

Nguyen check-called another 175,000 and they checked the {k-Hearts} turn and {6-Diamonds} river. Nguyen showed {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} and Pillai mucked.

Hand #33: Andreas Klatt jammed for around 375,000 from the small blind and Gagliano conceded his big blind.

Hand #34: Brett Apter made it 55,000 from the hijack, Gagliano called from the small blind and Nguyen joined from the big.

The {q-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{9-Spades} was checked by all players and Gagliano led out 110,000 on the {8-Spades} turn. Nguyen raised to 315,000, forcing a fold from Apter. Gagliano tank-called.

The river was the {6-Diamonds} and Gagliano checked to Nguyen who shoved all in. Gagliano snap-called and Nguyen sighed as his {7-Spades}{5-Clubs} for a straight wasn't good enough. Gagliano turned the nut straight and rivered a flush and Nguyen had to ship another 850,000 Gagliano's way.

Hand #26: Tommy Nguyen raised to 55,000 under the gun and and Kevin Gerhart called on the button along with Michael Gagliano in the big blind. The dealer fanned a flop of {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Gagliano checked. Nguyen fired 65,000 and Gerhart and Gagliano folded.

Hand #27: Andreas Klatt limped on the button and Nguyen checked from the big blind. The flop fell {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Nguyen checked. Klatt threw in a bet of 25,000 that was enough to claim the pot.

Hand #28: Thom Werthmann raised to 55,000 under the gun and Shankar Pillai called from the big blind. The flop was {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Pillai check-called a bet of 65,000 from Werthmann. The turn brought the {9-Diamonds} and Pillai check-called another bet of 120,000 from Werthmann. The {9-Clubs} completed the board and Pillai checked for a third time. Werthmann moved all in for about 300,000 and Pillai folded {a-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} face up.

Hand #29: Gerhart raised to 50,000 from middle position and everyone folded.

Hands #21-25: Apter Shoves on Klatt

Hand #21: Andreas Klatt limped from the cutoff and the action folded to Shankar Pillai who checked in the big blind. No bets were made through the streets of the {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{3-Clubs} and Pillai tabled {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}. Klatt showed {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} and won the pot.

Hand #22: Tommy Nguyen made it 55,000 on the button and won the blinds and ante.

Hand #23: Klatt raised to 50,000 from the second position and Thom Werthmann and Brett Apter called from the blinds.

The flop came down {6-Spades}{8-Hearts}{8-Spades} and Klatt bet 60,000 in position. Werthmann folded but Apter paused for a minute and then check-raised to 140,000. Klatt took over two minutes before he called.

The {2-Diamonds} hit the turn and Apter moved all in with a covering stack. Klatt had around 430,000 behind and he needed two minutes to convince himself to give up.

Hand #24: Michael Gagliano raised to 60,000 in the middle position and scooped the pot.

Hand #25: Pillai raised to 55,000 in the hijack and won the pot.
