Hands #98-101: Gagliano Chipping Up

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Hand #98: Michael Gagliano raised to 100,000 on the button and Shankar Pillai called from the big blind. The dealer spread a flop of {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} and Pillai checked. Gagliano bet 125,000 and Pillai check-called. The turn came the {3-Spades} and was checked through to the {k-Diamonds} river. Both players opted to check. Pillai showed {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Gagliano revealed {a-Spades}{6-Clubs} to win the pot with ace-high.

Hand #99: Tommy Nguyen raised to 85,000 on the button and got no action.

Hand #100: Pillai opened to 85,000 on the button and Gagliano three-bet to 300,000 from the small blind. Nguyen called from the big blind and Pillai added the remainder to call as well. A flop reading {8-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} was dealt and Gagliano bet 425,000. Nguyen folded but Pillai called. The turn came the {10-Clubs} and Gagliano moved all in for about 1,700,000. Pillai thought for a long while but then let it go.

Hand #101: Gagliano raised on the button and got no action.
