Schwartz Finds Lucky Double

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Ylon Schwartz was all in for his last 14,500 from early position and he ran with {4-Hearts}{4-Spades} into Christian Pham's {j-Hearts}{j-Spades}.

Schwartz stood up, ready to leave the table, but the {4-Clubs}{q-Spades}{7-Clubs} pushed him ahead. Pham failed to catch up on the {2-Diamonds} turn and {a-Clubs} river and Schwartz doubled up.

Du Shows Trips

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Four players made it to the {4-Spades}{k-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts} and Michael Mizrachi bet 4,000 in position. Chad Holloway and Blair Hinkle gave up but Mizrachi's neighbor Yue Du called from the hijack.

They saw the {6-Clubs} complete the board and Yue checked to Mizrachi who bet 5,000. Du called.

Mizrachi opened {7-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} and Du tabled {8-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Mizrachi looked at his hand and double-checked whether Du hit trips. Du confirmed he had Mizrachi beat.

Pillai Rivers Flush to Eliminate Martin

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Jesse Martin and Shankar Pillai created an 18,600 chip pot preflop and the dealer spread out {5-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{k-Clubs} on the table.

Martin bet 5,000 out of the small blind and Pillai raised all in from the middle position. Martin took less than a minute before he placed in his remaining 33,000.

He was ahead with {k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}, hoping to fade clubs as Pillai tabled {j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}.

The {a-Hearts} turn was safe for Martin but the {8-Clubs} river ended his tournament while Pillai soared to 168,000.

Leng Gets It in... Good?

Level 8 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

Ryan Leng was in early position and he and Angel Guillen (button) went to the flop for 9,000 apiece.

Leng had only 4,400 when the {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}{10-Hearts} hit the felt, and he led out 2,000. Guillen put him at risk and Leng called off, having flopped the nuts with {q-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}.

Guillen still had a chance to win the pot with {a-Spades}{10-Spades}, but the {5-Spades} and {8-Clubs} runout missed his outs.

"Now it's gonna read like I got it in good," Leng laughed.
