Fisher Reels in a Big One

Level 27 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Steven Wolansky raised it to 125,000 from the hijack and was called by Christoher Fisher on the button and Patrick Eskandar from his big blind.

Eskandar checked the {6-Hearts}{j-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop, Wolansky continued for 215,000 and both players called. After Eskandar checked the {2-Clubs} turn Wolansky moved all in. Fisher asked for a count and when the dealer confirmed 1,270,000, Fisher went into the tank for about a minute before he moved all in behind, which got a fold from Eskandar.

Christopher Fisher: {k-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Steven Wolansky: {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Fisher saw that his king-high flush draw was no good, but he also had the top pair that needed to hold, which it did on the {6-Clubs} river. The big pot was sent to Fisher and Wolansky was sent to the payout desk. Eskandar said that he folded ace-jack and that if Fisher didn't call he would have made the call.
