Gnidash Hits 1 Million in Chips

Level 19 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Denis Gnidash is the first player to reach seven figures today. Gnidash has previously finished runner up in a bracelet event, winning $214,760 in the $1,000 No Limit Hold'em event back in 2013. Currently, Gnidash's stack is big enough that he is second overall across both starting flights but with 45 minutes left of the day, there is still plenty of time for that to change.

Terrible Runout for Moon

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Benjamin Moon
Benjamin Moon

It folded round to Ben Moon on the button and he pushed all in for 53,000. He was looked up by Ben Reinhart who was on his left in the small blind and Reinhard called his all in for 50,000. The big blind passed and they tabled their cards.

Ben Reinhart: {k-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Ben Moon: {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}

The case king was in the window on the {10-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{k-Clubs} flop and things were looking grim for Reinhart. A {j-Hearts} turn gave him an open-ended draw but Moon had improved to a flush draw as well. The river came the {a-Clubs}, making broadway for Reinhart and leaving Moon with just 3,000 chips. He tried to spin them up but busted a couple of hands later.

Wilson Eliminates the Bubble Boy

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

On the third hand of hand for hand, there was an all in on the hijack for 73,000 and Brock Wilson re-jammed over the top. Everyone else stepped aside and the cards were spun on their backs.

Brock Wilson: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}

Wilson needed to fade an ace to burst the bubble and secure himself and the rest of the field a mincash of $2,251. It was a safe {4-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{5-Hearts} runout and he is up to over 300,000 now.

Hand for Hand

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Players are on the bubble, which means one thing - play is now hand for hand. The clock has been paused and for each hand that is played, two minutes will be taken off the clock.

Lipkin Raises Big on the River

Level 17 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Robert Lipkin opened the action to 12,000 and got a call from the big blind. He continued for 10,000 on a {6-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} flop and his opponent check-called. On the {q-Hearts} turn, the action went check-check and the dealer placed a {6-Clubs} on the river. The big blind player lead for 16,000 only to face a reraise to 85,000 from Lipkin. He thought better of calling, opting to lay it down instead and Lipkin scooped the pot.
