Daniel Negreanu is back in action just a couple of hours after taking second place in Event #83: $100,000 No-Limit Hold'em High Roller for a massive $1,725,838 and just moments after an unsuccessful attempt at Event #84: The Closer - $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em.

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante
Erik Seidel
Erik Seidel

Erik Seidel stood from his chair and departed from his table before the dealer moved all his chips in the direction of Dominik Nitsche.

An all-in situation had occurred with the board down {j-Spades}{7-Spades}{2-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}, and Nitsche held {7-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for two pair.

The dealer opened up Seidel's cards to reveal {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for top pair, and Nitsche eliminated the eight-time bracelet winner Seidel.

Ropert Left With Crumbs

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

All five community cards were down {9-Hearts}{10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} and Pierre Calamusa bet 15,000 from the hijack after his compatriot Corentin Ropert had checked from the big blind.

Ropert was in the tank with a big decision to make with 17,500 behind.

Ropert thought for close to two minutes before he smiled at Calamusa, sighed, and called.

Calamusa revealed {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for a flush and Ropert mucked before the players continued their conversation in French as the dealer passed the chips in Calamusa's direction.

Watson Shoves on Dickerson

Level 5 : 300/500, 500 ante

The board fell {a-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}, and Jules Dickerson bet 12,500 from the small blind. Michael Watson responded by moving all in for 48,000 from the hijack and Dickerson went into the tank.

The Brit sat silent for a minute and broke down his 47,000 chip stack. After another 30 seconds passed, Dickerson decided to fold, and Watson took down the pot.
