Ramin Hajiyev

Ramin Hajiyev had one of the shorter stacks in the room and he just busted out of the tournament. He got his chips in the middle with {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} against the {a-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} of Markus Gonsalves.

The board was {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{x-}{x-} and Hajiyev was sent packing in 11th place. He cashed for $36,151.

Small Pot for Heath

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Ben Heath raised from the hijack to 60,000 and he was called by Leonard Maue in the small blind.

The flop was dealt {8-Spades}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades} and Maue checked right away. Heath, who won a bracelet earlier this year, bet 90,000 and that was too much for Maue as he threw his cards to the muck.

Kurtzman Shoves on Chen

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Dong Chen raised to 65,000 when it folded to him on the button but small blind Eric Kurtzman had different plans. He decided to push all his chips to the middle and Stefan Huber got out of the way in the big blind.

Chen thought about it briefly but he folded in quick fashion and the next hand was dealt.
