Addamo Doubles Through Tilston into the Chip Lead

Level 23 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Michael Addamo
Michael Addamo

Hand #29: Brandon Adams raised to 400,000 from the button and won the blinds and ante.

Hand #30: Brandon Adams raised to 400,000 in the cutoff and Michael Addamo called from the button. Danny Tang came along from the small blind, and with the action on Keith Tilston in the big blind, he three-bet to 1,800,000.

Adams asked for a count of Tilston's chip stack and used a time extension chip as he continued to deliberate before eventually folding. Addamo now used a time extension chip of his own before announcing he was all in for 4,690,000. Tang folded, and Tilston called to put Addamo at risk.

Tilston: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Addamo: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}

The Australian was at-risk, but in the lead with the best hand in poker, and when the dealer spread the {3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{j-Spades} flop, he remained in the lead.

Tilston needed to find either a ten, or running straight cards, and when the {7-Diamonds} landed on the turn, Addamo was down to fading two outs to stay alive.

The river landed the {6-Clubs}, and Addamo secured the double, and climbed into the chip lead.
