Hands #57-58: Adams Doubles Through Soverel, Tang Increases

Level 25 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Brandon Adams
Brandon Adams

Hand #57: Sam Soverel moved all in for 8,800,000 from the small blind and Brandon Adams called all in for 2,200,000 from the big blind.

Adams: {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}
Soverel: {q-Spades}{4-Hearts}

Adams was at risk, but in the lead, and when the dealer spread the {2-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} flop, he would be fading a four or running cards for a straight.

The turn brought the {8-Diamonds}, and when the {3-Spades} completed the board on the river, Adams doubled to over five million.

Hand #58: Danny Tang raised to 600,000 from under the gun and Michael Addamo defended his big blind.

The flop landed {7-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} and after Addamo checked, Tang bet 800,000. Addamo called, and the turn fell the {k-Clubs} as both players checked and the river fell the {2-Hearts}.

Addamo led out for 600,000 and Tang responded with a raise to 2,400,000. Addamo folded, and Tang further increased his chip lead.
