Astedt Next to Bow Out

Level 29 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

After just receiving a pay jump, Niklas "SpeedyDouble" Astedt shipped all in for just over 500,000 on the button. 'Vulvasore' re-shoved all in from the small blind and the two players showed their cards.

'Vulvasore': {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs}
Astedt: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}

The flop came {k-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and Astedt was in dire straits, needing to hit an off-suit queen or ten. He was unable to do so and 'Vulvasore' improved to a flush on the river to eliminate Astedt in 17th place.

Mateos Eliminated
Mateos Eliminated

'colinchow' raised to 252,000 from under the gun and Adrian Mateos called from the big blind. The flop came {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Hearts} and Mateos check-called a bet of 220,770 from 'colinchow'. The turn was the {q-Diamonds} and Mateos check-called another bet of 555,270.

The {7-Diamonds} completed the board and Mateos checked for the third time. 'colinchow' shipped all in and Mateos was forced to let his hand go.

In the next hand, 'Stew_233' opened to 240,000 in the cutoff and Mateos pushed all but his last few chips in the middle from the small blind. 'Stew_233' shoved all in and Mateos made the call.

'Stew_233' showed {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} and Mateos was in trouble with {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}. The board ran out {j-Clubs}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and a pair of sixes was not enough to keep Mateos in the tournament.

'orzorz' Eliminates 'lazyexpress'

Level 28 : 60,000/120,000, 15,000 ante

'lazyexpress' was one of the shortest stacks left in the tournament and they moved all in for 952,324 chips in early position. 'orzorz' was on the button and re-shoved all in which got both of the blinds to fold.

'orzorz': {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
'lazyexpress': {a-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

The flop of {10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} gave 'orzorz' a pair of tens but 'lazyexpress' actually picked up an extra out with a straight draw. The {8-Clubs} paired the board on the turn and the {k-Hearts} on the river was not going to save 'lazyexpress'.

Swidler Can't Dodge Everything

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 12,000 ante

'Addichip' raised to 200,000 in the cutoff and 'astazz' three-bet to 600,000 on the button. Carter Swidler four-bet shoved all in for 1,101,120 in the big blind which got 'Addichip' to fold but 'astazz' was priced in already to make the call.

'astazz': {a-Spades}{5-Spades}
Swidler: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The flop of {k-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} was interesting as 'astazz' picked up a straight and flush draw with his ace being no good anymore. The {2-Diamonds} on the turn left Swidler one card away from a double up but the {q-Hearts} on the river gave 'astazz' a straight.

Adams Eliminated by the River

Level 27 : 50,000/100,000, 12,000 ante

'BatSoup789' opened to 200,000 from under the gun and George B "DrOctagon" Adams pushed all in for 1,127,856 in middle position. Fedor Kruse re-shoved all in on the button and the rest of the table folded.

Kruse: {a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}
Adams: {j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The flop came {q-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{2-Clubs} which left Adams in the lead but Kruse held the better of the two flush draws. The {4-Diamonds} changed nothing on the turn and Adams peeled off the {k-Spades} on the river much to his own demise. Kruse spiked a pair of kings and Adams was eliminated.
