Level 18 : 5,000/10,000, 0 ante
Mike McDonald
Mike McDonald

Samuel "vivaegipto" Bernabeu was all-in preflop in the last hand before the break and picked up calls from Mike McDonald and Simon Lofberg. McDonald ended up calling all-in on the {k-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} flop.

Samuel "vivaegipto" Bernabeu: {4-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Mike McDonald: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Simon Lofberg: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}

The {j-Spades} turn kept McDonald in the lead as he improved to a straight but Lofberg nailed the {6-Diamonds} river.

Sammartino From Hero To Zero

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante
Dario Sammartino eliminated by Craig Timmis
Dario Sammartino eliminated by Craig Timmis

Dario Sammartino three-bet jammed his short stack into the raise of "Lampard10" who quickly called.

Dario Sammartino: {a-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}
"Lampard10": {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}

The board came {6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} and Sammartino doubled with the nutflush.

However, right after Sammartino three-bet the pot to 78,000 out of the big blind and initial raiser Craig Timmis called.

Sammartino ripped it in for 124,976 with the {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{4-Diamonds} when the flop fell {10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Timmis called with {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{8-Hearts} for a gutshot. While the {6-Diamonds} turn bricked, the {9-Clubs} river did not as Sammartino bowed out.

Ami Barer fell short right after and he was followed by "Minthon" and Maksim "IReadB00ks" Pisarenko, among others.

Teoh In the Lead; Ribeiro Busts and Vieira Doubles

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 0 ante
Tomas Ribeiro eliminated by sws79
Tomas Ribeiro eliminated by sws79

"Mangudai" of Austria became the next player to fork over his chips to Paul Teoh when they held the {a-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and Teoh flipped over {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

"Mangudai" hit a teasing flop of {j-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Clubs} but the {2-Spades} turn and {3-Hearts} river were not what they were looking for.

Tomas Ribeiro then clashed with "sws79" and was at risk preflop for fewer than 20 blinds.

Tomas Ribeiro: {a-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
"sws79": {a-Hearts}{a-Spades}{10-Hearts}{9-Spades}

As the board came {a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{5-Spades}{k-Hearts}{q-Clubs}, Ribeiro was drawing dead on the turn.

"sws79" held onto the chips for just a brief moment before forfeiting a portion to Joao Vieira. It went in after the {7-Hearts}{6-Spades}{2-Diamonds} flop was dealt with Vieira at risk holding the {q-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} for a pair and a straight draw. "sws79" tabled {q-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{j-Clubs}{7-Clubs} for the overpair but the {10-Diamonds} turn and {4-Hearts} river kept Vieira in the game.

"sws79" Doubles Into the Lead

Level 23 : 15,000/30,000, 0 ante
Huge double for sws79
Huge double for sws79

Paul Teoh raised to 75,000 from under the gun and was called by "karilleMeni" on the button. "sws79" three-bet to 330,000 and Teoh was the only caller.

On the {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{10-Diamonds} flop, "sws79" bet-called all-in for fewer than 765,000.

"sws79": {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{q-Spades}{3-Hearts}
Paul Teoh: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{3-Clubs}

Teoh missed out on the full house as the {4-Diamonds} turn and the {5-Spades} river instead improved "sws79" further to the nutflush.

Vainionkulma Doubles; Timmis Doesn't

Level 24 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante
Craig Timmis eliminated
Craig Timmis eliminated

Arvi "Catman777" Vainionkulma was at risk with {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} against the {k-Hearts}{k-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Clubs} of "sws79" but got there on the river of a {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades} board,

Craig Timmis was not as fortunate in his showdown against Simon Lofberg.

Craig Timmis: {q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}
Simon Lofberg: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Lofberg flopped a gutshot on {a-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades}, turned a pair on {6-Hearts} and the {2-Spades} river failed to keep Timmis around.

Chabra and "Brahman33" Depart; Eight Players for the Final

Level 27 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

In separate hands on the final table bubble, the field has lost one player each to set up an eight-handed final table.

First up a three-way pot worth 880,000 emerged to the {7-Spades}{6-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} flop on which Leon Tsoukernik bet the pot. One fold was followed by the shove of Ajay "Ross_Geller" Chabra for 1.1 million and Tsoukernik called.

Ajay "Ross_Geller" Chabra: {10-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Spades}
Leon Tsoukernik: {a-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

The {3-Hearts} turn and {3-Spades} river ensured the departure of Chabra in 10th place.

As the four players on that table waited for the final table to gather, there was another showdown.

Shyngis "somebodyelse" Satubayev raised the pot and called the shove of "Brahman33" for little more.

"Brahman33": {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Shyngis "somebodyelse" Satubayev: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{6-Spades}

The player from the Ukraine flopped an open-ender on {q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs} but that's all she wrote as the {8-Spades} turn and {q-Hearts} river were both blanks.

Benjamin Juhasz
Benjamin Juhasz

Benjamin "dr100percent" Juhasz had a shade under the size of the pot behind and jammed the cutoff, which Simon Lofberg in the big blind called.

Benjamin "dr100percent" Juhasz: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}
Simon Lofberg: {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

The board came {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Lofberg made a flush on the river for good measure. Juhasz became the first casualty since the field combined to one table and takes home $25,522.19.

Paul Teoh Eliminated in 7th Place ($34,819)

Level 28 : 50,000/100,000, 0 ante
Paul Teoh
Paul Teoh

Paul Teoh raised the pot to 350,000 on the button and Leon Tsoukernik called in the small blind. Tsoukernik simply bet the pot on the {8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} flop and Teoh called all-in for less than that.

Paul Teoh: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Clubs}
Leon Tsoukernik: {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Teoh needed a heart to stay in contention but instead the {8-Spades} turn and {9-Diamonds} river brought no help to send the Malaysian to the rail in 7th place for $34,819.02.
