Konopelko Takes One Off Shah

Level 23 : 0/0, 300,000 ante

Michelle "hu4trolzz" Shah opened from under the gun for 1.8 million and was called by Andrei "iosif stalin" Konopelko from one seat over.

Shah bet 3.6 million after the {7-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} came on the flop and was called by Konopelko.

The {6-Hearts} followed on the turn and Shah checked. Konopelko bet 9.5 million and won the pot after Shah folded.

Orsino Chips Up

Level 23 : 0/0, 300,000 ante

Joseph "MrWheatToast" Orsino limped from the cutoff and Paul Teoh checked back from the button.

Orsino check-called a bet of 1,575,000 after the {q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{8-Spades} came on the flop and both players checked after the {10-Clubs} came on the turn.

Orsino then fired out for 2,625,000 after the {j-Clubs} completed the board on the river. Teoh took a few moments before he folded.

Chip Count Update

Level 23 : 0/0, 300,000 ante

The last dozen hands or so have been all small ball.

Michelle "hu4trollz" Shah is the only player of the five to have fewer chips than at break.

Chip Counts at Break

Full House for Konopelko

Level 23 : 0/0, 300,000 ante

Three players limped preflop and all three checked the {6-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} flop.

Michael Watson bet out for 1.8 million into a pot of 2.4 million after the {10-Spades} came on the turn and Andrei "iosif stalin" Konopelko was the sole player to call.

Watson then check-called a bet of 6 million after the {10-Diamonds} paired the board on the river.

Watson turned over {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} and was beat by the full house held by Konopelko with {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}

Konopelko Back on Top

Level 23 : 0/0, 300,000 ante

Paul Teoh bet 2.5 million into a pot of 7.5 million with the {9-Spades}{j-Spades}{a-Diamonds} on the flop. Michael Watson folded before Andrei "iosif stalin" Konopelko called.

Both players checked after the {8-Diamonds} came on the turn before Teoh fired out for 12.5 million after the {10-Clubs} came on the river. Konopelko called and got the bad news as Teoh held {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} for the nut-straight to beat his {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs} for a lower straight.

Konopelko retook the chip lead after the hand.

Ante the Same as Starting Stack

Level 23 : 0/0, 300,000 ante

The blinds have gone up and every player has to ante 300,000 per hand or the same as the starting stack. The player on the button also needs to post 300,000 as a blind with the preflop action starting on where the small blind would normally be.
