Wigg Takes Out Gozel and Ved

Level 13 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Sahin "babawanga" Gozel opened to 12,000 from the cutoff. Kartik "Mandovi" Ved three-bet jammed from the button for 123,936. Anton "RUN_CMD" Wigg called and Gozel opted to come along for the ride.

Kartik "Mandovi" Ved: {k-Spades}{j-Spades}
Sahin "babawanga" Gozel: {k-Hearts}{4-Hearts}
Anton "RUN_CMD" Wigg: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Wigg's big slick was looking almost unbeatable after the {q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{a-Hearts} came on the flop. However, the {4-Spades} on the turn opened up a flush draw for Ved and gave Gozel two outs for trips.

Wigg eliminated two opponents in the same hand after the {q-Hearts} paired the board on the river and he soared near the top of the chip counts.

Topol Busts Two

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Rafael "TheBigKid" Moraes opened from the button to 305,253. Stanley "Donkey_Fish" Topol raised to 720,000 from the small blind. Justin "Sittting Out" Ouimette was all in for 754,000. Moraes just had a few chips left and also called as did Topol to put two players at risk.

Rafael "TheBigKid" Moraes: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}
Justin "Sittting Out" Ouimette: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}
Stanley "Donkey_Fish" Topol: {a-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

The sixes were good after the {10-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} came on the flop but Moraes took a big lead in the hand after the {a-Diamonds} came on the turn. However, the {j-Spades} spiked the river to give Topol two pair and sent two players packing.

Shortly after, "calderOn77" was eliminated at another table to leave 29 players remaining in the field.

Level 29 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

Despite starting the final table in second place, Erik "FortySixand2" Lemarquand was the second player eliminated at the final table.

The hand began when Nikolay "PROMsGT" Motsenko opened to 400,000 from the small blind. Lemarquand called leading to the {5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{3-Hearts} coming on the flop.

Motsenko bet 316,000. Lemarquand raised to 1,008,000 and Motsenko jammed. Lemarquand called off for 2,554,698 and players turned over their cards.

Erik "FortySixand2" Lemarquand: {10-Spades}{9-Spades}
Nikolay "PROMsGT" Motsenko: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}

Lemarquand had top pair but needed help. Neither the {a-Hearts} on the turn nor the {6-Clubs} on the river were of any assistance and Lemarchand was ousted in eighth place for $33,334.

Murilo "RaiseBluff" Nascimento Eliminated in 7th Place ($45,933)

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 25,000 ante

It was a bit of bad luck for the short-stacked Murilo "RaiseBluff" Nascimento to eliminate the Brazilian in seventh place for $45,933.

He three-bet jammed for 1,725,000 and was called by Ermo "PublicEnemy7" Kosk who opened the hand.

Murilo "RaiseBluff" Nascimento: {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}
Ermo "PublicEnemy7" Kosk: {10-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

Nascimento hit a set on the {q-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{j-Hearts} board but in many ways it was a better flop for Kosk who now had both straight and flush draws.

The {a-Clubs} came on the turn to give Kosk a straight and Nascimento was unable to improve to a full house or quads after the {7-Spades} completed the board on the river.
